This comprehensive HSE-compliant course meets the requirements of the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 and HSE guidance (L74). It provides delegates with the full range of skills needed to act as a qualified First Aider in the workplace, valid for 3 years. The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 further require employers to carry out a suitable and sufficient risk assessment to determine the level of first aid provision needed, including the number of trained first aiders. This course is suitable for higher-risk environments or workplaces with larger numbers of employees.

Legal Notice: All courses are delivered in compliance with the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981, the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, and HSE Approved Code of Practice and Guidance (L74). Employers have a legal duty under these regulations to provide adequate first aid arrangements for their employees. Failure to comply may result in enforcement action by the Health and Safety Executive. Certificates issued upon successful completion are valid as stated and are recognised by the HSE. Training is delivered by qualified instructors holding a current First Aid at Work Training qualification and relevant teaching credentials. The Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 2013 (RIDDOR) requires employers to report certain workplace incidents – having trained first aiders supports compliance with these obligations.
