First Aid at Work Requalification (FAW Requalification)

This HSE-compliant requalification course is designed for those whose 3-year First Aid at Work (FAW) certificate is due to expire. It meets the requirements of the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 and HSE guidance (L74), ensuring delegates maintain their competency and renew their qualification for a further 3 years. Under HSE guidance, employers must ensure that first aiders renew their certificates before expiry. If a certificate expires, the individual is no longer considered a qualified first aider under the Regulations, and the employer may be in breach of their legal duty. It is recommended that requalification training is arranged in good time before the expiry date.

Note: Delegates must hold a current or recently expired FAW certificate to attend this course.
