This HSE-compliant course equips delegates with the essential skills and confidence to respond to workplace emergencies. Delivered by a qualified First Aid Instructor, the training meets the requirements set out in the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 and HSE guidance (L74). Under Regulation 3 of the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981, employers are required to provide adequate and appropriate first aid equipment, facilities, and personnel to ensure employees receive immediate attention if they are injured or taken ill at work. This course fulfils the minimum first aid training requirement for low-risk workplaces.

Legal Notice: All courses are delivered in compliance with the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981, the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, and HSE Approved Code of Practice and Guidance (L74). Employers have a legal duty under these regulations to provide adequate first aid arrangements for their employees. Failure to comply may result in enforcement action by the Health and Safety Executive. Certificates issued upon successful completion are valid as stated and are recognised by the HSE. Training is delivered by qualified instructors holding a current First Aid at Work Training qualification and relevant teaching credentials. The Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 2013 (RIDDOR) requires employers to report certain workplace incidents – having trained first aiders supports compliance with these obligations.
